Blue Cash® for Business Credit Card Issued by American Express Overall Rating Benefit Rating Special Offer: 0% for 6 months and is applied to Purchases. APR (Purch): 9.74% Variable* Annual Fee: $0 Category: Business Review The Blue Cash® for Business Credit Card, issued by American Express®, is designed for business owners with average credit who plan to take advantage of the cash back reward program. The cash rebate amount varies according to the purchased item; cardholders earn a cash back rebate of up to 5% at "OPEN Savings" locations (FedEx®, Hertz® and Staples®) and up to 2.5% for all other purchases. Therefore, only those who spend at specific locations will be able to take advantage of the 5% cash back rebate. Cardholders will also be able to take advantage of various services and benefits that include special discounts at FedEx®, Hertz®, and Staples®. However, it is important to review the disclosures for participating merchant discounts, because various restrictions and limitations apply. The card has a 0% introductory rate for purchases for six months, a 7.99% introductory rate for balance transfers made within the first six months of membership for the life of the loan, and no annual fee. In relation to other business reward cards, this card has a reasonably low rate for purchases (for higher qualifying applicants). Therefore, those who qualify for the lowest rate offered and plan to take advantage of the additional benefits and discounts available will benefit most from what the Blue Cash® for Business Credit Card has to offer. Review Date: 11/1/2005 Most Attractive Feature(s): Cash back reward; no annual fee; no yearly limit on cash rebates. Least Attractive Feature(s): Low rate not available to all applicants.
